Birth Date: 9/15/1976 Home Town: Plaistow, NH Sport: Mixed Martial Arts & Judo Gym: Tristar - Renzo Gracie - Pedro's Judo Rick Hawn is a former 2004 United States Olympic Judo team member and current Pro MMA Fighter. As a judoka, he won numerous medals at U.S. national championships, 2 medals at the Pan American Games, and finished 9th at the 2004 Olympics. In 1996, after high school, Hawn qualified to live at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. There he trained judo for eight years and ultimately qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games. At the Games in 2004, Hawn went 2-2 and finished in 9th place. After the 2004 games, Hawn moved to Boston to train with two-time Olympic bronze medalist Jimmy Pedro, and soon after began training for a career in mixed martial arts. Rick currently holds a purple belt in BJJ also. MMA Accomplishments:

How I train

A normal Monday is I wake up at 7am, have a light breakfast, usually some oatmeal with banana, raisins and almond milk. I train BJJ at 845 at Professional Martial Arts Academy in Derry, NH. Come home for some lunch and rest. Go back to Derry, NH at 3pm to teach MMA, BJJ and kids Karate. I have MMA training at 615pm till 8pm. Back home around 9pm for dinner and bed.
